DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our second\, “Restoring Wellness and Balance After Child Loss” on Wednesday\, December th at 6 PM.  \nMessage from Candi: I have been working to create a place where you can go to find nourishing ways to take care of yourself as you travel the road of child loss and I’m thrilled to have scheduled our 2nd Restoring Wellness and Balance After Child Loss webinar led by a very special person who I have made a connection within my own search for healing.  Her name is Caroline Ciocca.She  is an extremely warm individual\, with expertise in personal growth and in coaching and helping people find clarity and confidence and to deepen self-awareness.  \nI have found her to be a true inspiration and have decided to collaborate with her to find and share with you real ways to replenish your bodies and souls after losing a child. There will also be a grief therapist by the name of Dr. Creel who is an excellent voice in grief and how to navigate loss.  If you know me\, I am a HUGE advocate of self-care and wellness\, yoga\, breath work and feeding your soul.  The idea is to help restore balance and peace through the emotional and physical strain of our grief. It is about finding small meaningful ways to nurture yourself in the midst of grief.     \nThe sessions will be held remotely via zoom without video so you don’t have to be seen and there will be a chat where you can ask questions and insert your thoughts. They will be held every other month with set dates so you can mark your calendars and they will be 45-60 minutes in length. Having lost her son Thomas to suicide in July 2019\, she has a deep understanding of clinical depression and its effects on both those contemplating suicide\, those who tragically take their own lives and those left behind.  \nThis group aims to create a supportive environment for BTF parents who have experienced the loss of a child to suicide. It offers a safe space to share and navigate your grief alongside others who understand your journey. DESCRIPTION:First Fridays in Bel Air is brought to the community by The Bel Air Downtown Alliance. They choose a non-profit for each month to receive all of the tips in the tip jars. BTF is the chosen non-profit for the October 4th First Fridays. Last year\, we brought in THE most tips of any non-profit and we need to do it again this year!  \nCome visit the “Heart of Harford” on the First Friday of the month for Harford County’s best block party! Enjoy local live music\, food trucks\, artisan vendors\, a beer and wine garden\, activities for kids\, and more! And while you’re here\, be sure to shop at one of our many boutiques\, explore the Bel Air Public Art Walk\, or take a walk on the Ma & Pa Trail. First Friday ends at 8 p.m.\, but the fun doesn’t stop there; keep the party going at one of our pubs\, restaurants or breweries.
